Another brilliant meal at Corvi’s! We went after a day on the bikes with my son. The food was brilliant and even my son, who can be a picky eater at times, cleared the plate. The staff were really friendly. We can’t wait to go back.
I cannot rate this place highly enough! Been going since I was a wee girl and it never fails to impress! Highly recommend the 'broon fish supper' made in a traditional fryer!Service is always friendly and welcoming! Thanks again for a great day out- we'll be back!
Considering location and portion, found it overpriced. also advise not to have smoked fish there, tested very over-salted and awful taste. Will not go again.
1 haddock with chips, 1 smoked haddock with chips and a coleslaw. (Attempt at 1 of my 5 a day!) All absolutely delicious! Staff were lovely and the family tree, written on a blackboard, with lovely sepia and b&w photos around the walls are an inspired touch. So satisfying to deal with a family business rather than faceless franchises. Highly recommended. 😊
Had a Fish Tea, meaning a Fish Supper. Bread and Butter with Coffee as l don't drink tea. Enjoyed it and good friendly staff. Sorry l deleted the photo.
Day out at Bo’ness fairCORVIS (seaview cafe )Shame on youAfter travelling from Glasgow to enjoy Bo’ness fair day it was spoiled by this shop CORVISmy 7month old grandson was needing fed I asked if I could purchase a bowl of hot water for the baby food and was totally refused I offered payment for the water and again I was refused I had to mix his baby food with cold bottled waterI found this shocking and disgraceful behaviour towards visitors like myself who take time out to travel to your town I’m so glad that the rest of people in Bo’ness can hold their heads highSHAME ON YOU AND YOUR WORKFORCE
Amazing family run restraunt. Went in today, had an amazing fish supper, half pizza supper and some chicken for ma wee one. Liked looking at the owners family pictures. Has a full 125 year history on the wall. Superb wee place. Highly recommended
Came through for a visit to Kinneil House and Bo'ness for the day from Edinburgh and came in for a sit down Tea.White pudd, fish n chips and smoked haddock n chipsPlus bread and butterPot of Tea was lovelyFood was very good quality and fresh and tastyLove the aurhentic look of the whole placeFriendly atmosphereWe will returnOh and ice creams too 😋👍🏻
Went in with my friend on wed.29/9/21 for fish& chips & it was good to have them delivered on a kinafa hot plate & also having my pot of tea placed on a small round rubber? mat. Many cafes just sit their tea pot on a cold table which causes the heat to DISIPATE. The chips were a lovely colour & weren't greasy & tasted lovely & the crispy battered fish was fresh tasting & both our plates were left with nothing on them. At least the owner & her hubby were both very nice & took the time to converse with us both. We tried their ice-cream but it wasn't as good as Taylors of Bigger or my favourite place - the Esplanade Cafe at Greenock.
Corvi’s shouldn’t be missed closes at 7pm. But this little hidden gem will take you back with cash only option. In a little sea front vintage chip shop. Fried in traditional oil and served hot in the paper wrapper style fish supper way, Classic. @retro @daytimetrade @pitstop or @sit-in (basic). @fishsupper @bonessshore
